A new identity theft service launched on the dark web this week is selling digital scans of more than 153 million drivers licenses from people in the United States and Canada. Based on interviews with individuals whose licenses are available for purchase on this service, it appears to be siphoning images collected by a widely-used identity verification company based in Louisiana. KrebsOnSecurity also has learned that the New Orleans field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) today launched an official inquiry into the source of the images.

Web design is not an exact science. There is no 'right solution'. Readers experience every site subjectively. I find it useful, as a software person who is not a graphic artist, to have informed and detailed feedback on my designs.
@lavaeolus @ditol @map_per If you look at the map (in CoMaps) and the OSM data, both are given the label as `place=country` but are not mapped as a 'country' with borders/boundaries.
The OSM wiki outlines the status quo for mapping in https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Disputed_territories#Europe and CoMaps for now just follows the existing state of data in OSM.
The problem with any filtering/editing is that it will open a can of worms for all of those places on the wiki page.
@gedankenstuecke makes sense, thanks for explaining!
And my general point of OSM >> corporate map services like Google/Apple Maps stands strong, this hasn't change.
(Also my preference of CoMaps over Organic Maps)

Silly kitchen appliance question: I have a new combo oven/microwave which I already used with, as it turns out, all the different kinds of racks inside. But the manual says not to use the oven-type racks while microwaving. Do people actually take the oven racks out when microwaving or is this some kind of "clean hourly or your warranty is void" kind of thing?
@vaurora If it's raw metal, then the worry is most likely about arcing/sparks and thus a fire hazard. My understanding is that this issue is blown out of proportion a bit, but personally I wouldn't risk it.

Bin schon lange bei @tazgetroete und @Krautreporter und hab es noch nie bereut. Ich merke anhand der Artikel, die ich immer so lese und gut finde, dass ich wohl auch noch @riffreporter und @uebermedien abonnieren werde. Muss nur noch sehen, wo ich das Geld zsammenkratzen kann. Ich finde es deswegen super, wenn es solche Aktionen wie flexible Abopreise (Abonennten haben ja i.d.R. Abos weil sie sich verantwortlich verhalten wollen) und Bundles gibt.
