Ja podria fer aquest temps tot l'any.
"How Russian propaganda works abroad, in one sentence per layer:
For the right: "Russia defends tradition." For the left: "NATO caused this." For the pacifist: "Weapons prolong war." For the cynic: "Everyone lies equally." For the tired: "It's complicated."
Five contradictory messages, one output: do nothing.
Russian propaganda doesn't need you to love Moscow. It needs you paralyzed."

John Apple has even less ideas than Tim Apple. This is the most "use case" thing.

New research led by NASA scientists looking at five forms of fungi and bacteria indicates that some of them indeed could survive for a time under certain conditions on the lunar surface. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2026/08/22/world/science-health/nasa-earth-microbes-survive-moon/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=mastodon #worldnews #sciencehealth #space #moon #biology #nasa #us
Couldn't resist letting myself get nerd-sniped back into #emacs. I never fully left anyway.
This time around I'm determined NOT to try to fit my entire computing life into it and (mostly) just use it as an editor.
Anyway, nice to see how far it's come. So many things are usable out of the box now. My `init.el` is less than 70 lines (cosmetics and bindings, some packages), but thanks to project.el, eglot, and completion-preview, you have an IMO pretty decent coding experience right away.
@citizen428 lol same, like 6 months ago (after like 10 years of not using it much).
It’s come a LONG way. Like actually nuts how good it is now. And there’s been a resurgence of package development too. Like within the last year or so we’ve gotten actually good terminal emulation (ghostel, wrapping Ghostty) and TRAMP (emacs-tramp-rpc).
I however DID get sucked back into doing everything inside the environment. I even wrote my own Matrix client over vacation last month 😂
we fight fascists not because we will win, but because they are fascists
Gonna say it again today: if you ever have questions about transmasc HRT, top surgery or FR administrative changes, feel free to ask.
I'll always be happy if sharing my journey or advices can help you out!
@Caelumtangi @Kaiz cossos suats 😒
Hey subscribe to my new pod where every God damn discussion is:

Algorithm: A clearly specified mathematical process for computation; a set of rules that, if followed, will give a prescribed result.
idk if i buy this
also the "safe prime" test (q = 2p + 1 for F_q the finite field of prime q) seems fine but it's actually missing just that q - 1 needs to have a reasonably large prime factor instead of being fully composed of small ones. i'm antsy about requiring a divisor of 2 for the generator subgroup since that was first introduced by an IBM paper and i have never seen anything good from an IBM paper
The revolution will run on free meals, water, and zines showing people how to help. It certainly won't run on doomerism, guilt or cynicism.
And it will definitely, absolutely depend on emotional peer support. You can't fight the establishment when you're depressed.
"I don't have a problem with gay people, as long as..."
Ok so you do have a problem with gay people then

The fog of hunger

From childhood, a significant portion of the world’s women are trained to restrict their appetite. And there’s a huge, hidden, cognitive price to pay for it
