When the V-parasites went airborne we nearly lost society to PHANG syndrome. All the media blared that you must wear an airtight mask and cover all exposed skin outdoors. BUT who has that on hand?. Well, some of us did. A mysterious cadre of neighbours wearing gas masks and form fitting latex self-organised to deliver prophylactic coverings to the rest of us. I’m not sure what purpose the cat-ears served, but we owe these anonymous heroes a debt.
Kind wild how the whole tech industry is just people who did and didn’t get The Lord of The Rings
@danirabbit
Or that were just evil.
@catsalad Sand cats are the best. They're feisty little beggars!

Sem surpresa, estuprador serial ser um policial. #ACAB #acab1312
@ajroach42 I just saw it this morning. Really struggled to shake the feeling of “you are watching A Film” throughout most of it, but I'm glad to have seen it.
@MrDOS yeah, they really sucked of the depth out of that field, but otherwise no complaints.
Go to the homewares store and buy a box fan, a roll of duct tape, and five air filters. Assemble them into a Corsi-vanHelsing box. Yes the media says the plague is over. Yes, most of the first-wave vampires have crumbled to dust. No, it’s not over. If you breathe that dust and it reaches the blood in your lungs, *boom* welcome to Bat Lung.
As if the americium smoke detector incident wasn't enough, now nuclear regulators have ANOTHER reason to worry about the Boy Scouts.

I am pretty sure this will not affect forgejo in any way. It's totally fine to run your own forgejo instance and host there LLM generated only code, no problem at all. The codeberg thing is primeraly as i understood about resources for the hosting part, which got pretty expensive because storage got expensive. and law related stuff when hosting and offering things in germany.
@phillycodehound
@DeltaLima makes sense
@phillycodehound That's probably an option but I'm not familiar with Forgejo's license and impact of the Codeberg ToS changes on it.

@ajroach42 no room for serendipity when everything is maximized.
@eniko the technology around the games was also much, much simpler. One platform not several, smaller, simpler APIs for graphics/audio/input/networking, a much smaller selection of hardware to test for, etc...
@gabrielesvelto I mean I'm using a simpler api for graphics and with stuff like SDL and Raylib it's not like I worry about different input or sound or whatever apis for different platforms?

@swelljoe everything planned within an inch of it's life.
@ajroach42 i found it refreshing to go to a theater without assigned seating recently
@seacow it hadn't occurred to me how much I hate it until tonight.
Folks, just remember the universal truth of my existence whenever I offer a hot take on cultural product that you don't agree with, okay?
That truth is that after nigh fifty fucking years on this earth, it is clear to me that I am not in fact, the target market. For anything. You can watch whatever movies you like and it doesn't matter at all if I like them. I don't like most anything. And the guys who make movies simply do not care, so it's irrelevant.
