I’ve been working with computers for five decades. Some people view me as an “expert” in certain subjects.
And I can tell you that when I am learning a new technology I still feel like the dumbest newb on the planet. I make tons of mistakes. I go down stupid rabbit holes of my own making. I have tons of self doubt.
So give yourself some grace. Everybody goes through this phase. Take a deep breath. Believe that you can do this.

@hal_pomeranz I love this. What a great reminder. I’ve been doing what I do for about 28 years now. I always tell people that I know a lot about it, but not everything. I learn something new every day.

Sehr schön. Belgien plant eine Straßenmaut für alle Autos. Busse und Motorräder sollen davon ausgenommen sein. Die Höhe der Maut berechnet sich nach dem Antrieb. E-Autos sollen deutlich günstiger wegkommen.
Ich wäre ja für eine Straßenmaut, die die tatsächlichen Kosten für den motorisierten Individualverkehr abdeckt, gerne gestaffelt nach der Art des Antriebs. Und zwar überall und ausnahmslos in Europa. ;-)
Yesterday, proofs came of my new novella, The Blossoming of the Big Tree, and it got me a bit excited. I have got print copies of my books before, but not one I designed from scratch. I was worried about how the cover would look like, and also because I used LibreWriter for typesetting, if the font was the right one, etc, but it all looks nice and cute. Proud of myself. 😊

@projectgus yeah I know there is a config parameter for u-blox GPS receivers that tell it what the week number must at least be.

Not just "has happened before." This is most convictions in the United States.🤷🏿♂️
Arrest an innocent Black person too poor to make bail. Charge them with anything. They know that their life will be ruined if they are in jail for a year trying to prove their innocence. They know that they will be brutalized and assaulted in jail for a year, and lose custody of their children, have their credit destroyed, lose their house or apartment, and worse.
Offer them the opportunity to plead guilty and go home now. Most will just take it.
This is 95% of convictions in the USA. Not a typo. Ninety-five percent of criminal convictions are plea deals.
I am not that versed in USA, justice, i recall a case that i saw a documentary about.
