Seattle Worldcon 2025 was an incredible experience! A huge shout-out to everyone who came to every panel with the word "solarpunk" in it like it was their job. ✊

My big takeaway is that we're all looking for hopeful visions of the future - the people want solarpunk! So honored to be able to present my research and network with amazing authors & organizers in such a beautiful city.

Friends, Friendship. Teammates. Buddies. Partners in crime†. Frankly, I don't get it. I do the job and make sure everybody comes back. I train them until they drop in a sweaty heap, but then they insist on group meals and singing, that stuff, and won't let me pay. Sure I have everybody's back in a fight, or with clients, or the boss, but that's the right thing to do. I am responsible for them. They ask me for advice, too. Sometime weird. I ended up punching the cheating husband when he made a pass at me, which was actually sort of fun. At times they won't leave me along to be quiet with my books, which is really all I want out of life. I am really the wrong person to ask such a question to.

I'm almost done with the editing phase of both Planting Life AND Last Lady of Lună. Which means it's time to pick my next project.

The two I'm thinking of finishing next are The Bargain, and the sequel to Last Lady of Lună

The Bargain is fully written and been through a couple rounds of editing. The Bargain is a kinky found-family maybe-romance about trust, self acceptance, and getting over yourself. Sometimes what starts as a Bargain, becomes something more.

The L3 sequel will be (another) slow burn vampire why choose romance, with FF, MM, MFF, and more. Nastasia and her mates are finally working together, but her enemies and her clan have found them, and there's no saying which is more dangerous.
