there are exactly 2 things in my experience as a programmer that make it feel really true to say that programming is mathematical
the first is program calculation/squiggol
but the other is shader programming
to expand on this comment about shaders being mathematical:
whenever you're making stuff with shaders, you're constantly making use of very mathematical ideas to do things
if you want to draw a circle, for instance, you basically use the standard set theoretic definition

Det har funkar för mig. Eventuellt om bilder varit lite sega på att ladda. Men jag har bråkat med nätverksutrustning hemma, så jag skulle nog skylla på det isf, för jag har märkt latency på anslutningar överlag hemifrån. Men det har ju ingenting med mastodoninstansen att göra

on MacOS back in the day, there was this program called Grapher which was a really fully featured graphing calculator. im not sure if it still exists or not but it was exceptionally high quality and I wish I had something like that for linux
