The Schumer compromise is utterly toothless, and amounts to performative resistance. We need actual substantive resistance.
Hold the line. Do not fund ICE, the Border Patrol, or indeed, DHS itself.
I'm not going to toot all the photos I took today. It was a lot. But I think this is the best one I got. Good separation from the background. Sharp focus of the centre of the flower, and much of the rest of the plant. Definition visible in the petals. And even a little water droplet. Not bad. Going in the "one of the better photos" pile.

Unfortunately, I've run into a bug involving Zotero's PDF reader and now I can hardly get anything done! But I did report it like a good human. I'm sure they will fix it. But I don't recommend upgrading just yet if you're on Linux.

If they have other outside, it will be bad, but still work.
They chosen to allow a full shutdown, and we don't trust them anymore, so we move out.
