It’s the whole “we all have to participate in society” thing. I need to communicate with my father’s caregivers and they have a phone app to check in at the facility. My kids use Google Classroom at their schools.

Do I wish it were otherwise? Sure. Am I going to make it difficult to care for my father or do my kids’ homework? Nope. Gotta pick my battles.

Well, it's official. I can finally kick good old crappy Adobe Reader to the curb. In comes Foxit PDF reader, as they've enabled accessibility support. Plus, I have found a portable version of it and it even lets you fill out PDF forms. So Adobe go bye bye and now I have something that is actually quite snappy to use. @gedankenstuecke My live servers CPU has been constantly at 80+% for *months* now because those shitty bots keep crawling expensive endpoints on my gitea. Any repository that can be publicly seen can just be cloned.

I also already have a construct in my nginx config that just gives memes and shockporn to clients identifying as common AI crawlers and apparently already blasted around 1.4TB of that in their direction, but to no avail.
