Most people earn more than the UBI would be anyway, the money "surplus" is there.
With a fair tax system, the taxes paid would pay for the UBI

@StarkRG @firefoxwebdevs @davidgerard Firefox only exists because Google subsidize them so they can point to FF as "proof" that Chrome isn't a monopoly. With the new regime in power, that's a dead issue. So Google want FF to push AI adoption now because they've figured out how to monetize it and they don't want precious eyeballs evading their slopware. If Google cut off their "search" payment to FF, Mozilla goes bust and the C-suite lose their jobs. QED.

So sure, you can get a bunch of papers, but you need to scroll and ^F on each page listing to try to find what you want, lol

i have been using ONLY Office this week and wow. it doesn't suck. why is libre office soooo bad?
@tootbrute@fedi.arkadi.one I keep wondering, if ONLY Office is so good, and so free (as in freedom), why is it not packaged on Debian? On Gentoo there's a -bin variant, which generally means the source code requires some very complex, often non-free, setups to compile.
I also don't feel Libre Office to be all that bad, but I haven't used it since I left school I think.
