This is the reason, the Trump regime is coming up with weird terms like “war on drugs” to insinuate there is a war (there is not), and “narco terrorists” to insinuate that civilians can randomly be seen as terrorists (which they cannot).
They are executing civilians who have not been sentenced to the death penalty by a judge in a court of law.
This is murder.

@juliewebgirl @virtuous_sloth sure, but there is a significant difference between calling something a "war" colloquially, and then formally declaring actual war, which is a move that changes the legality of lethal actions.

Those terms are not "weird terms" that Trump has come up with.
They both have existed since the 1980's.
What *IS* new is that this year, by executive order, "foreign drug cartels" are now classified as "foreign terrorist organizations".
No new terms, only new designations.
It's not a strong argument if you yourself are coming up with weird conclusions that are not accurate.

Couple of years ago we got a new coworker who was really confident but just had this bad habit of making stuff up that sounds good to meet a deadline and seemed incapable of admitting that's what they were doing, so I just never gave them anything to do if I wanted to know something was done right, which is all of the time. No one in the office really talked about them.
Anyway, at a work conference today, we've been told that actually we should be using this lying coworker as much as we can and spending our time checking if what they said is sound as well as doing our own work. This is because it will eventually make us more productive even if it appears to slow us down to start with. The coworker is here to stay with the promise they will definitely get better at some point and all the money going to them will pay off at some point so we need to learn to get the most out of them.
For instance, a presenter at the conference had asked our lying coworker to pick a number from 1-50, and it turns out they always pick 27. When prompted why, they'll tell you a whole bunch of reasons, such as it's a cube number, it's in the middle but not exact, etc. Clearly bullshit, but everyone in the room seemed to accept their explanation. Why would they even need to explain that if they weren't constantly trying to cover their ass that they don't know what they're doing?
