Well, well, well, under the guise of introducing a national 'social tariff' for water, it looks like a cross subsidy from the wetter North to the drier South of England may be envisaged.

To help Southern water firms invest in the infrastructure they need to ameliorate drought conditions the social tariff would see funds raised in the North applied to project in the South.

This looks like yet more regional exploitation (from here in the North)!

@ricci @mackuba.eu another factor here is location: we don't have many reputable large PDS deployments that aren't US based. I'll probably move from a Bluesky PBC PDS to EuroSky once I'm confident their infrastructure works and is stable. But I don't want to maintain my own servers for this, nor do I want to use $pdsHostedOnSomeonesPi
