@sebsauvage
Moi aussi. Et j'ai régulièrement des envies de meurtres quand je pense aux devs derrière ça.
J'espère qu'il y a un enfer pour eux, qui ressemble à Windows Vista.

Understanding the world is intimately tied to acting in the world; you know something to be true because of the coherent activities it supports in the world. This creates a link between knowledge and power: when you're powerful, *incoherent* actions can succeed from sheer power.
i’m sure i can read

sawdust is very difficult to analogize to slop. i think i'm allowed to critique for a poor analogy. it's a charming idea though
@fasnix sie haben die Kapazitaeten. Ja
@hipsterelectron@circumstances.run Free software predates open source and I don't think open source would exist at all without the free software movement having been a thing first so I'd argue they both derive from the same.
@vetehinen i definitely care about free software more than you do and you have wildly misunderstood my post
@TheBreadmonkey @woe2you @Nickiquote TBF it makes sense to get tooled up if there is what seems to be a panther on the loose?
@internetsdairy @TheBreadmonkey @woe2you
You can’t even shoot panthers in Somerset any more, because of Woke.

"the cooking example is completely different from the examples you just gave."
Agreed. The examples I gave were for @mpjgregoire 's assertion that nobody ever has any problem with copying except for copyright. I strongly disagree.

I meant to give a thoughtful reply — including opening a tab to https://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P8B.HTM — but at this point I think I'll just say that maybe you're right.
@TheBreadmonkey It's like the ever-prescient Terry Pratchett's Dis-Organiser on steroids
"Good morning, Insert Name Here! How can I help you today?"
@TheBreadmonkey White Ass Politician? I think that dance goes, step to the right, raise taxes on the workers, let the billionaires capture all the wealth.
Milyen kellemes ez a billentyűzet. Főleg az a .com billentyű tetszik ahogy kilóg a többi közül
Another game banned from Steam with no explanation and no apparent reason, with the studio behind it at risk of closing because of the ban.
Steam's de-facto monopoly must be broken, by legal means if it's not possible to challenge them commercially. They have become something between a racketeering business and a gatekeeper in the gaming industry, and it's damaging both game developers and gamers.

@gabrielesvelto that headline desperately needs quotation marks around the game title!
Yesterday migraine stepped it up again for day 3, which is unusual for me. Plus there was an alarm clock mishap and resulting anxiety, so I stayed home and went back to bed until close to noon.
Most of the rest of the day I spent drawing geometric patterns, which I guess is stimming... First session went close to 3 hours without a break, so apparently I needed a lot of regulation 🥴
In the late afternoon I had a bit of energy, and did dishes and sorted cook pots.
I slept so badly that I actually remember dreams from last night.
Basically my mother was back from the dead/had never died, was healthy and happy, and the rest of the family acted like everything was normal, but I remembered finding her body, and the burial too, and I was doubting my sanity.
And then the dream featured that that wasn't my mother, but some supernatural being appearing as her, and my family knew, just not dream-me... @_@
@konstantinosd amazing poster and a 72 page manual, what's not to love ;)
@madeindex Indeed. And those stunning visuals ... ❤️

#OtD 26 Nov 1938 a football team of Basque boys who were Republican refugees from the Spanish Civil War played a friendly match in Pontypridd, Wales. Tickets to the game were sold to raise funds to support the children https://workingclasshistory.com/2018/07/29/spanish-civil-war-podcast/
I specifically tried to program it to not constantly detect Tim Allen's Big (Super)Naturals and LOOK WHAT IT DOES ANYWAY
