@davidgerard @jwz pleased to see one teen has hijacked some of my old leather jackets
Am fascinated by the idea of “hands free” orgasm (using your imagination or being prompted by a partner to reach orgasm from suggestion instead of toys or touch). It’s likely trainable and perhaps listening to an audio would work for those doing this remotely. Assuming those into ASMR would benefit from long-distance play. Exploring what ppl are saying online (found a reddit thread). My own experience of hypnosis is nonsexual, and obviously consensual via an NLP practitioner. Was wide awake both times so this hypnokink is different!

Hey everyone,
@joynewacc and I had the honour of speaking to two families from Gaza today and we’d like to welcome them to Gaza Verified.
They are:
• Nour🇵🇸❤️ Future Doctor (@Nourfuturedr) – note that Nour is Joy’s sister but we have the same process for everyone so we still held the verification call :)
• Niveen💝 (@joudfamily)
Please give them a warm welcome to Mastodon and to the fediverse, follow their accounts, and donate to their fundraisers if you can (and please share this so others can do the same).
Also, remember that you can find all our families who have fundraisers listed at the following page, ordered by those who have received the least in donations over the last week (on a rolling basis):
gaza-verified.org/donate/
Thank you for making Mastodon and the fediverse a safe space for our friends in Gaza and for your support.

Dear Anonymous:
Are you on the Open Social Web / Fediverse?
Please support non-corporate/capitalist social interaction. Support the democratic web.
Get on the Fediverse!
thanks!
(I see your bluesky posts because they are 'bridged' to the fediverse, but come on, you can do better. You should do better)
With great respect to your cause.
Chris
We live in an old house and one of the two previous owners planted a gardenia under the bedroom window to catch morning sun at this time of year and bring fragrance into the room. This morning is the morning that gardener was dreaming of.
Times are times. Keep going gardeners.
@kate oh what a dream! I kept a potted gardenia when I was in grad school that unfortunately succumbed to mites, but the memory of that scent at my desk remains strong
Eventually we'll all be paying for our media via a donation amount we set up to be auto distributed to creators based on the percentage of our time spent with their work, out of all the time we consumed media for that month. It will liberate creators from advertiser and business concerns and put independents on the same level as big media corporations.
But to get there, we need a fiat transfer protocol. Maybe somebody who will benefit could give them some press.
@buffyleigh nice! Admittedly I’ve only made it through maybe a hundred of those records. I mean…over a thousand! 😂
I’m still stoked that you facilitated that list. I revisit it semi-regularly to find new music to explore.
@markwyner 🤓 i'm still stoked too. even if no one else cared about it, it's still a gift for me
@thomasfuchs LLM's can't produce anything that a human has not already produced
Case in point, the seven Millennium prize problems
Only one has been solved
Why hasn't someone used an LLM to solve one of the others ?
Their training data will have every mathematical treatise from Principia Mathematica onwards
I guarantee someone has tried, but because no human solved a problem & that solution's in the training data LLM's can't regurgitate it
LLM's can't solve problems they're not intelligent
I was in Chrome (for a team persona where the team are all-in on Google 😬) and I just used Google web search by mistake.
Bloody hell, the LLM going **LISTEN TO ME I AM THE FKN ORACLE** is exhausting 😩
@urlyman Annoying as fuck, for sure. I put -ai after every search, which reduces half the bullshit, but I'm sure they will find a way around that.
In today's episode of "algernon goes unfiltered on fedi instead of writing a blog post", he will talk about why the advice of "You probably shouldn't block AI bots from your website" is a bad advice, and why you should do the exact opposite.
Kind of.
I mean, you shouldn't block them, that much I agree. You should serve them garbage. But lets not rush ahead yet!
But that's how progress works: there are winners and there are losers.
Dude. That is a fundamental misunderstanding of "progress". Progress means moving forward, to grow. The slop machines don't do that.
These bastards are killing the open web, moving us backwards by making it even harder to self-host anything, driving us towards centralization, which is the exact opposite of progress.
They steal and plunder, and make the life of everyone outside the billionaire / fascist class miserable. That is not progress.
Companies keep firing people "because AI will take over their jobs", only to re-hire them at lower wage, because the AI absolutely can't. This is not progress.
It's being pushed and forced on us. That is not progress.
And the bit about winners and losers? The fucking bubble is bursting. Who the fuck do you think will win? The billionaires and fascists.
Why the everlinving fuck should we concede to them?
I'm doing a rust tutorial with a friend and former coworker.
When I described linear values that must be used at least once, she said "Aha, Chekhov's Type" [1]
I laughed much.
source of "Checkhov's Type" is @mmaylee (had to get consent, of course)
I'm gonna scream.
Did I not already get my government log in shit? Why do they want a photo of me and my ID now? They can fuck right off.
They can mail me a damn letter. Absolute garbage gov't. We did things just fucking fine for decades. Aaaaahhhhh!
@GrapheneOS I'm sorry I will edit/retract my post, following your request.
My point was that there was a lot of ambiguity in social media posts, with messages implying that GrapheneOS left France - as in, no longer served French users and my point was in clarifying that you no longer felt safe having servers in France... but that French users for now can carry on. That's it. I feel all this ambiguity will certainly scare potential users away - and that would be a real shame.
I love your project, I'm using GrapheneOS and wish you the best going forward
@liaizon we've done this dance before, we'll cross paths someday!
@thibaultamartin electric warming desk mat, recommended by the Slow Heat movement in Belgium. I can find references for you if you're interested. Works well for me. "Mitaines" don't work for me (or the ones I tried are too small).
@arthurlutzim I'm actually pretty interested. Doesn't it harm devices that rest on it?
@petrillic it would also address notification overload. i see the california law as unfortunately leaning towards a cynical view of regulation as perfunctory and obfuscatory
@hipsterelectron its definitely just “ignore it” at this point.
Good morning from the Indian Pacific! Woke up to beautiful green scenery today, quite a change from the desert terrain I went to sleep to last night. We're near Lithgow now, bearing down on Sydney.
It's hard to imagine a worse match than this podcast-guest spammer emailing this to… us 🤣
