Heute in Hannover wartete Ich an einer Haltestelle auf einen Bus bei der Christuskirche, auf ein Mal tritt ein Man neben mir gegen den Kinderwagen den seine Partnerin schiebt. Er bezeichnet sie als jedes mysogynes Wort das man eine Frau nennen kann, Ich schaue die Situation offensichtlich an. Die Frau versucht den Kinderwagen zu drehen und ihn wegzubewegen, der Mann stellt jedes Mal sein Bein davor, das Kind fällt fast raus, sie hält es fest. Er schreit irgendwas davon, wie man merken könnte, das sie auf Drogen sei. Ich sehe das nur bei ihm.
Sie schreien einander an, der Mann sagt der Frau das sie abzischen und „du sollst deinen Arsch am Steintor verkaufen gehen”.
Sie bemerken, dass Ich sie hin- und wieder anschaue, haben dann eine Diskussion darüber auf wessen Seite Ich stehen würde. Der Mann sagte das Ich ja auch sehen würde wie schlimm sie ihn behandelt. Ich habe tatsächlich nichts dergleichen gesehen.
Er schubst sie weg, sie geht auf die andere Straßenseite Richtung Steintor. Er nimmt das Kind mit. Ich sehe, dass sie wieder zurückkommt. Sie geht in eine U-Bahn Station der gleichen Haltestelle. Ab diesem Punkt verfolge Ich die Situation, da irgendwas massiv schiefläuft.
In der U-Bahn Station angekommen sehe Ich, wie sie das Kind aus dem Kinderwagen genommen hat, auf einer Bank sitzt und mit dem Kind im Arm weint. Der Mann schreit durch die Haltestelle, dass sie ja nicht wegrennen oder eine andere Bahn nehmen soll. Ein dutzend Menschen tun so, als haben sie das nicht gehört.
Die Bahn kommt, beide steigen ein, Ich auch. Sie steigen aus, Ich auch. Ich spreche die Frau direkt an, frage sie ob sie Hilfe benötigt. Beachte den Mann nicht. Genug Menschen um uns herum. Sie verneint, schaut mich nicht an. Ich bestehe drauf, gebe ihr eine Karte vom Frauenhaus, frage sie ob sie darüber schon Mal nachgedacht hat, biete ihr an sie zu begleiten. Sie guckt ihren Freund an, fast fragend ob sie die Karte annehmen darf. Er sagt ablässig „Gibt es auch ein Männerhaus?”, Ich sage „Ja, tatsächlich” (Männerbüro Hannover). Die Frau erklärt mir, dass das alles kein Problem sei, sie es nett findet, aber wenn sie Hilfe gebraucht hätte sie auf sich aufmerksam gemacht hätte. Der Mann sieht so aus, als würde er gleich explodieren. Die Frau beteuerte mehrfach, dass es keine Probleme gäbe.
Ich kann und will nichts mehr machen, und gehe. Was hätte man anders tun können? Fühlte mich bereits hier so als würde Ich mich in was einmischen was mich nichts angeht, aber lieber so als etwas geschehen lassen, was nicht geschehen soll.

Genosse @peter präsentierte auf dem Barcamp unsere #Mastodon Instanz für Genossenschaften und erklärte das #Fediverse – mittlerweile immerhin ein Grimme-Preisträger. 😉
Das Programm war so umfangreich, dass man ganz viele interessante Sessions leider verpasste.

Can’t sleep so caught up on the Framework drama a bit. The Hyprland bit in particular, as it seemed a lot more interesting.
I don’t have the full picture and haven’t done that much research. But.
I see is some regrettable behaviour from a few years ago – arguably a bit more nuanced than what the leading narrative makes it look like. It’s mostly referred to through multiple layers of indirection (a mastodon post here, a blog post there), rarely as pointing to a primary source, pretty much never with context.
I also see people making amends, apologizing, regretting the regrettable and improving. In not that long of a time span, frankly – especially for someone who was 20 at the time of the regrettable events being brought up. The amends and regrets are almost never brought up, by the way.
Some time has passed and some things have changed. People have changed, arguably for the better, at least from what I can see. I won’t be linking to anything and pointing out anything specific, and that’s deliberate:

I’m not saying you should, or must, form an opinion about this. The world is too complicated already, it’s fine to say “I don’t care about this drama or another, I’ll make my mind up when the dust settles”. Which is very reasonable given that I don’t think enough time has passed for Framework itself to do proper research, make up their minds and post an actual statement.
But please, please, before you signal boost either side of this conversation, dig in and see for yourself. Because some of the accusations flying around in this space are fucking wild. And I’m really tired of seeing stuff in my feed that people just blindly repeat and repost because they sympathize with the narrative. Do better. There’s enough shit-flinging already.
