Hm. Over at the facesite I commented on a post about #bruteforce attacks on a commercial network product with a link to https://nxdomain.no/~peter/badness_enumerated_by_robots.html, and got a followup asking whether I have bruteforce protection "in front of" my ssh servers.

And this only hours after I scared the cat by LOL from seeing that the #pop3gropers are actively trying the local parts of my freshly random spamtraps (see https://nxdomain.no/~peter/eighteen_years_of_greytrapping.html a bit down the page). #passwordgroping #cybercrime

all development has been taking place solely on @Codeberg for months now, we just didn't want to remove our repo from Github immediately when we switched, since people might have been relying on it; so if you hadn't moved whatever mirrors / build systems etc to our codeberg repo yet, you ought to do it

Great stuff, to be clear the tweetfoxy bot was a long time ago but it would be great to explore more of these ideas because its very much needed.

abbiamo aggiornato mastodon alla versione 4.4.5: quindi ora da web e da alcune app saranno visibili i quote post delle altre istanze federate, ma noi non possiamo ancora farli fino al prossimo aggiornamento a 4.5.x. Sappiamo che su questa cosa c'è dibattito, potremo sicuramente parlarne in assemblea di istanza, che convocheremo entro o dopo #marzo.

As I sit to make a quick sketch, I’m reminded of how uncomfortable it is for my neck to look straight down on the paper when on a flat top. So this is the future home of a drawing board with adjustable angle and matching T square.

I’ve been wanting to do that for a while and finally have the spot.

But a few other things to do first in the organizational line.

This reminds me of the Sass/Less moment for CSS developers quite some years ago. There's so much future and opportunities to this!

Sur la page de validation de la commande, le bouton de validation est à gauche et celui d'annulation est à droite.
Sur l'écran précédent, c'était l'inverse (et souvent, le bouton principal est à droite pour des questions de sens de lecture).
Donc là on change de sens.

Good morning Fedi friends!

A new #GoToSocial version is out and I'll be updating (via #YunoHost) so I can use it.

I typically refrain from updating too quickly but I'm experiencing weird bugs in Ivory for iOS (cannot like posts) so I'm curious to see if anything improves.

Please wish me luck!!!

Edit/update: the warnings in YunoHost make me a little scared. REALLY WISH ME LUCK PLEASE!
