Even then, we should not forget that it is the rich who are feeding the bigotry of the poor and uneducated because this let's them get away with more.
An example from Germany: BILD is the most popular German tabloid. It has also done its best to spread and encourage xenophobia for decades.
And the person who runs its parent company, the Axel Springer Verlag, is a billionaire named #MathiasDöpfner. Who just gave his company's annual award to #PeterThiel , another billionaire supervillain.
Don't get me wrong, everyone who supports bigots like Germany's #AfD is responsible for their actions, and they are not entitled to forgiveness from their victims.
But I hold the billionaires who feed this bigotry to be far more responsible, since they actually have the power to change the world on a grand scale - and choose to change it for the worse.

It cannot be that white voters are more oppressed, or the other non-black people of color are more oppressed by evil billionaire propaganda than black people. This is bullshit. It is nonsensical to claim that white women here in the USA are voting away ownership of their vaginas cuz billionaire propaganda. No. They are racist as hell. Stop making excuses for horrible racists & Nazis.
Well, you know more about American history and politics than I do.
But here in Germany, it is _absolutely_ the case that the ultra-rich support bigotry because progressive politics would threaten their business interests. They helped the Nazis get into power, and they are supporting their modern-day descendants.
The networks of the modern Nazis are _extremely_ well funded by rich people, and this is a major reason why so many people buy their lies.
@juergen_hubert @ChrisMayLA6 Germany brutally colonized Africa, killing large numbers of black people for generations. A few rich people did not do that. Germany has a bad history of racism before the Nazis. Germany recently refused to support a UN resolution condemning European atrocities in Africa and calling for reparations for slavery. A few rich people did not do that.
And who started Germany's brutal colonization of Africa? Rich people, seeking even more profits.
Sure, they had lots of willing helpers, who helped them due to motivations ranging from profiteering, to "German Manifest Destiny", to bigotry. And _all_ who participated in this are responsibile.
But personal responsibility is proportional to the power to actually change things. Thus, the rich and powerful have the most responsibility of all.

Ordinary people bear the most responsibility for the enormous genocide, slavery, apartheid and industrialized rape committed by millions of Germans and other Europeans in Africa and the Americas, and eventually later in Europe itself later during the European Holocaust. I'm not blaming a few rich people for the crimes of millions. That is very wrong. You are denying and minimizing the severity of grassroots Nazi eugenics and shifting blame.
Wish more people could understand this. This bargain between the billionaires and the racists is what allows them to keep extracting wealth from the masses. You let us keep pulling off our scams and we will continue to facilitate the mistreatment of the folks you love to hate.
@mastodonmigration @ChrisMayLA6 There's tremendous racism on the left. It's not as suicidal as the racism on the right, but it's really bad. Many people on the left do not want to talk about suicidal racism. They'd much rather falsely claim that billionaires somehow magically enriched themselves and increased their own numbers. It's bullshit. Almost all billionaire wealth was created by racism in the past 60 years in the ongoing backlash against MLK and the Civil Rights movement.
@ChrisMayLA6 We have so many super rich, and they own such a huge slice of the pie, because of the super bigots in the lower classes. Too many on the left spend far too much rime raging at the super rich, and far too little time raging at the super bigots who created the modern billionaire class and soaring inequality.
