@Gina @fdroidorg it's cute, sure. but way too little, way too late. much like most measures that european governments are taking whenever tech is concerned. (and probably other areas too judging by the downard trend of Europe).

Otherwise many devs declares stopping publishing apps for android, and alt stores may simply dry out anyway
@Gina I hope the German authorities are taking note of this too. So far, the only response you get is: ‘We only support the official stores,’ or something along those lines.

@Gina @fdroidorg definitively a step into the correct direction. That said, I would prefer that they offer the same service/product also as website or webapp so that we are not forced to decide between Apple and google but could move towards open source linux. That would make us independent from us tech companies.
