@adritheonly I've never read Iain Banks before. Which book would you recommend for this kind of theme?
@everton137 The one that jumped to mind is: Surface detail. Part of the Culture group of books. (See internet for order in which to read them which is much disputed). Banks had a singular mind that I think saw right through humanity.

@everton137 Meanwhile, while scientists are meaninglessly occupied checking madhouse mutterings OpenAI will smite its opposition, with the unwitting approval and support of the portion of humanity prone to support such causes.
