Saanich Fair was this weekend. Lots of fun! I took this light-painting style photo of the Midway Amusements rides, inspired by a photo I saw a few days ago.

At night, amusement park rides are lit up. As one spins, the motion blur effect turns the glow into an illuminated conical shape.

A few weeks ago I saw a great photo showing a carnival ride in Long Exposure. Admittedly, that version was much better than my attempt. But it was fun to try :)
