989 people in the U.S., out of 340 million, are billionaires. 3,428 people, out of 8.3 billion, worldwide as of March 2026.

That's roughly one in every 2.4 million humans. A tiny group of the human population and yet they do disproportionate damage to the planet and its people.

We are destroying the Earth to create wealth for these men. It doesn't have to stay this way. We can change this.

SPEAKING OF #BILLIONAIRES

saw a ForbesEspaña post about #multimillonarios. that reminded me of my quest to denormalize the gringlish billionaire, so i wondered how they published it in english.

welp, here’s how the company that concocts the Billionaire List, writes about them in ethpanish:

“Five Members Of Medline’s Mills Family Are Now Billionaires” forbes.com/sites/mattdurot/202

vs.

“Estos son los nuevos multimillonarios detrás de la exitosa salida a bolsa de Medline” forbes.es/empresas/847787/esto
