@inquiline Terrible but also so interesting, really good article. Reminded my of my PhD on forest management in Nigeria, colonial and postcolonial, and how past decisions intersect with present ones and ecology and climate in shaping landscape change today. Reading this makes me want to do this kind of detailed political ecology analysis again, I really love it!
