Google may advertise its new selfie video sign-in feature as a shiny new option to log into your account, but this is just an excuse to collect more of your data 😡

Anyone out there with a jerk of a twin or close-enough doppelganger is probably concerned someone else can now easily open their accounts.
I also wonder if they ever fixed that problem where AI had a hard time distinguishing people who weren't white from each other.
@Tutanota This feature makes it way more likely someone else can recover my account than I can.
AI doesn't think I have a face. Almost all of them fail.
My theory is that this is actually all just training for the overwatch AI. Be much harder to train AI on the chaos of watching people mill about than on the flow channeled and logged activities of account recovery and "validated ID".
Make it better. Make it recognize my face and then it can track anyone's.
