And then, what? Wait for a spontaneous reaction of the "wider public"? Defeat fascism with lots of understanding and even more words? Wait for fascists to be defeated in upcoming elections and concede power? Like they've always done time and again? #sarcasm
The American tragedy is that there is no leadership and no material opposition to fascism. Both parties largely serve the same interests and show no willingness to act in the name of a "democracy" that maybe never was.
