Update time: #LibreOffice 26.2.5 is now available. This is the fifth maintenance release in our current stable branch, recommended for all users: https://blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2026/07/24/libreoffice-26-2-5/ #foss #openSource #freesoftware
@libreoffice can you please implement paste without formatting by default?
@libreoffice
"Export directly as PDF" doesn't work in Version: 26.2.4.2 (X86_64). Oh, yes, it does create a PDF but the links within it are cold. In previous versions, it worked perfectly.
Yes, again, that the file was created a couple of years ago and has been updated many times. The problem occurred with the latest update.
Also, something happened to my tool bars and menus. I'm slowly resolving the many problems that were created.
Generally speaking, the program still isn't as good as WordPerfect but I know of nothing better.
@libreoffice Thank you, everyone. By far my favourite office tool! 🥰
@libreoffice does it work on macOS yet?
@jfmblinux @libreoffice Sorry perhaps that question could have been worded better, I know there have been macOS releases, but they literally did not work. Resize the window and the whole app shutdown. And that’s just one of the many critical bugs. It was like an alpha release. Shocking they even pretened it was a thing.
@kDelta @jfmblinux We do extensive testing on macOS. LibreOffice is not perfect, but there are hundreds of thousands of people using it on macOS. We (TDF) even have a developer focusing on macOS support. We've literally tested right now, resizing the window, and it works fine. Sorry that there's clearly something specific with your setup that's not working, and maybe we can try to fix it for your case. Tell us more about your setup, for instance...
