Let me introduce myself: I’m Naor, a Dutch guy with a masters degree in experimental physics. I’m passionate about tackling the climate crisis, which is how I’ve ended up in the world of energy transition policy.
I have never really been into social media, mostly because of the companies that run the platforms. But after reading @pluralistic’s book Enshittification I figured I’d give Mastodon a try.
Will be posting in both Dutch and English, depending on the topic.

@naor_nl welcome! What exactly do you mean by energy transition policy, are you lobbying politicians for different laws?

@lizzard great question. Currently I’m working on heating and cooling plans for the municipality of The Hague. Most of the city is still on natural gas so lots of work to be done to transition to renewables.
