Is it time to ditch #tusky, I wonder?
Development seems to have stalled. I mean, soon it'll be a year since Mastodon introduced quote posting and the app is still only able to display it.
This may be a nasty consequence of accelerating the rythm of development of the main thing: smaller projects start struggling to keep up?
@jorgecandeias Well, I tried a few other clients in the last few weeks because of the quote issue (which I miss having only occasionally). #Pachli gave error after error. The main #Mastodon app is not bad but it doesn't allow deleting notifications in the app (AFA I could figure out), so this becomes messy. So it's back to #Tusky for me.
@JeroenSH @jorgecandeias If you have the time I would be very interested to know what those errors were, so I can fix them. Thanks.
@pachli @jorgecandeias Maybe the errors were China-related (Vpn etc.) but I didnt/don't get them in Tusky. I don't have Pachli installed now (quoting worked nicely), but I will test it again when I have a bit more time. Thanks for taking this up.
