An Israeli court extended by two days the detention of two activists arrested from a Gaza-bound flotilla intercepted in international waters near Greece, their lawyer said.
Saif Abu Keshek and Thiago Ávila were taken into custody after the vessel was seized, while more than 100 other activists were transferred to Crete.
Spain and Brazil condemned the detention as illegal, while the activists’ lawyer said they deny all allegations and argued the arrest lacked jurisdiction, adding they were mistreated during transfer.
