I came out to my extended family. I was pretty nervous because I hadn't spoken to most of them in years, either due to family drama or just growing apart. It went so much better than I expected. All of them supported me, one of them wants me to visit them this year and reconnect, and one came out as trans to me. I guess my family cares about me more than I thought.
