Watched the first couple of episodes of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy last night, and really enjoyed them.
Was expecting to see Tilly (from Discovery), but maybe she'll pop up soon.
A fun series so far, with laugh out loud moments as well as the usual ST drama! 馃尃馃槉

Same! She's a louder-and-proud* personality though. So I get the logic of spending a few episode (maybe all of series 1) introducing the new characters, and nostalgia baiting us with Robert Picardo's photonic Doctor, before chucking Tilly in the mix.
* I was going to say "big personality" but that's ambigous enough to be taken the wrong way ; )
@strypey I know what you mean. Seems she's faced a lot of negativity for not being the usual Hollywood accepted shape. It's sad.
Also seen that she'll only be in one episode now, although I don't know how true that is. A shame if so, she was fun!
