Open warfare in the Labour party. With elections to the Scottish parliament in May, it's understandable that Scottish Labour is so concerned.

"Anas Sarwar says he's calling for Starmer to quit because 'failures' in No 10 means SNP failures 'continue here in Scotland'".

@patrickhadfield I find his idea that Westminster is being bad for Scotland is shared by many people who won't vote for him, but fair play to him for suddenly agreeing with the SNP. 😉

@patrickhadfield @munchkinstein yeah, he was making the case for independence in his argument but then came to the conclusion that the SNP was bad. Not great reasoning, but he's almost there

@patrickhadfield

He is of course free to propose and cost some specific better policies than those of the SNP, commit to being allowed to pursue them by his bosses in Westminster, and for the costs to be covered by the block grant when his bosses fund the corresponding public services in England.

Any time, we're waiting.

We've been waiting since long before he was Scottish Labour leader, but he could be the guy to do it.

If he likes.

If he dares.

If he can.
