@Tutanota the Netherlands has announced plans for it too. Everyone under 15 will be banned from every social media. This is absolutely horrible, and I'm so happy a company does something about this. All power to you guys.
@Tutanota I'm all for banning social media for minors. They don't need that shit...nobody does for that matter. We were doing great 10-15 years ago without it. There are and will be more alternatives for social media. It all depends which social media or site it is imo. Yes, parents should be responsible for their kids online but most people are potatoes...

I live in spain right now, but I am going to live in Italy from 1 or March, hope they don't do this kind of stuff there too! At least they are one of the few countried that doesn't support #chatcontrol

@Tutanota No one can convince me that this is about protecting anyone. It is about your data, control and restricting free speech and it will lead to even more isolation.
@Tutanota keep away our children's from social media or apps.. Don't give them mobile phones until they pass 16-18. That's the only way to keep them safe, looks like. 😔
@Tutanota Under 16s should absolutely have their access to social media restricted. But there should also be a protection against age checks to protect privacy. How do we do both?
