Nothing screams stable like a project that renames itself from clawdbot to moltbot to openclaw in a span of two days while trending on GitHub.

What kinda koolaid are these people drinking? I'm talking about the ones purchasing API keys and then plugging in their entire digital lives into this thing and let it communicate on your behalf? Is this some sort of weird dystopian fetish where an AI talks to people on your behalf?

I'll keep my manual typing, thanks. I prefer my mistakes and my tone to be actually mine.

I also read some of these people are buying Mac Mini to run this on. There really is a whole different world beyond what I can comprehend.

ps: I consider myself a power user. I love automation. But this is crossing a line I didn't know we had drawn. There is a fundamental difference between scripting a deployment pipeline and scripting yourself. Plugging your entire digital life into an experiment isn't cutting edge.

pps: Am I the only one who thinks giving an LLM access to your DMs is a bad idea? or is the FOMO just that strong with these "industry leaders"?

@pheonix
I totally agree. It feels like a total loss of control to me 😱
And personal DMs are for me connected with emotions
