Had to abandon the #Proton online word processor and spreadsheet after a long honest try. They're just so bad.

@mrundkvist have you had any experience with CryptPad? Not asking so as to recommend, asking because I'd be interested to know how it compares.

Because yeah, unfortunately, I agree. Proton Mail is nice. The calendar is good. The docs are so rudimentary that I've literally switched to Obsidian for the main work on all my documents which I then convert into the necessary format at the last stage.

Thanks, have not tried CryptPad. Because I didn't switch to Proton for privacy reasons. I don't care if anything's encrypted. I switched because I've lost all trust in the US.

Hey ! I'm from CryptPad. Even if you don't care it's encrypted, you can still try CryptPad. We have many users that don't fully understand why it's actually useful and important to encrypt, yet they use CryptPad because It's simple enough and competes with non encrypted tools.
