Would it be more Starfleet to enforce rigid rules about sitting positions? Even though different sittings positions are more comfortable for different humans, let alone different species?

Nahla is part-Lanthanite and has lived for hundreds of years. That probably tends to make one more eccentric and inclined to do whatever you feel like in the moment, as long as it doesn't get in the way of what you're trying to do, why not? : )
