@arstechnica Mark Zuckerberg doesn't care about Trump or America or Privacy or Free speech, he simply wants to make enough money to do things he thinks are important, like wasting money on the metaverse. If a democrat takes the white house in 2028, I wouldn't be surprised if he pivoted. After all, both tech sites like Twitter and Facebook had special portals for Biden administration officials to ban content as they saw fit and special lists of powerful people who got leeway to break the rules that were judiciously enforced for the average joe. Oh, and meta bring in 16 billion dollars from advertising they think is probably a scam and they charge these advertisers more for the privilege of accessing the room temperature iq of the average Facebook user.

@arstechnica That's the main reason I left Facebook and Instagram in 2020. They started removing my posts about the wishy-washy response and nonsense (bleach) of the first Drumpf regime regarding Covid. There is no free speech on Meta platformed apps.
