Caught up with the legend currently beating a world swimming record and demanding an end to bottom trawling: Jono Ridler!

It's so inspiring to see people putting their body and their energy in the line for their beliefs, and in this case, for a healthy ocean for all of us and those who will come after us.

Follow Jono's incredible swim at http://swim4theocean.org/ and let's stand together to end destructive bottom trawling!

#ProtectTheOcean #BanBottomTrawling #oceans #fisheries

Group picture of 7 people in front of the ocean and the volcano Rangitoto in the background. The sky is beautifully blue with streaky clouds.

The people hold banners reading "Go Jono!" and "Ban Bottom Trawling"

They're all smiling and represent organisations involved in ocean protection including Live Ocean, Greenpeace, the Deep Sea Conservation Coalition and LegaSea.
