I love the Fediverse and really enjoy the Mastodon platform, but (and this surprises me) the gaming community over on Bluesky is really big & engaging! Like, not gamergate types, like good folks!!!
How do we get some folks off Bluesky???

@renwillis Following the recent/ongoing success of the Forkiverse (if you've been following along), maybe there are some popular non-gamergate gaming-related podcasters/bloggers with large communities you could reach out to and use Forkiverse as a good case study?

@renwillis Yeah, I think it makes more sense to market the fediverse as a concept to organizers and community leaders, and maybe specific servers to individuals, without getting too much into the weeds about how it all works.
Suggesting a server helps avoid the dreaded "pick a server" task.
