I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, as an Iraqi I know all too well how it feels when people on the outside judge your country without knowing the first thing about your country.

I’m not American nor do I live in America but it’s very hard not to judge what we’re seeing recently as nothing but pure, brutal suppression.

I’m sorry friends.

As someone who lived a brutal suppression for many, many years, I really do feel for you.

I promise you it will pass. It may currently feel like it won’t, but it will.
