I've seen 3D plans for loud whistles. I don't have a 3D printer myself yet, but is it safe to put 3D printed stuff in your mouth? I know that there are ones that use plastic and ones that use resin, and I thought the resin ones were more toxic. But isn't plastic also a problem?

@Quasit - It depends on the plastic used. Many use ABS for example which is used in all sorts of things including toys. its non-toxic.

As long as you're just blowing the whistle and not eating it, you'll be fine.

For 3D printers you might see if your local library or makerspace has a 3D printer you can use. you can often use them for free or a minimal price to cover materials
