Just my annual reminder that if you think you *might* need your assistive gear for FOSDEM, you probably *do* need your assistive gear at FOSDEM. Brussels and ULB isn't an easy one to navigate and while I don't use my walking cane daily anymore, I keep it with me for this (and C3). You'll want to try to keep the balance of packing light and still having everything on hand you'll need.
