I imagine that the UX designers at The Guardian have the best intentions but probably go home and cry in the shower after work.

@matt Also, my #TheGuardian tab regularly crashes in chrome, and I have to reload. Sometimes in the middle of reading an article.
@matt I don't get any further than the cookie pop-up at the Guardian these days
@mawkernewek At this rate, they might as well just have their whole site behind a splash screen that has "Agree and Enter" or "Agree and Subscribe" buttons.
