It is immensely disappointing that the European Parliament manages to defend and support former Commissioner #ThierryBreton, a wealthy, privileged old man who's addressbook is full of powerful friends.

While it not even mentions in passing (let alone defends) the cash-strapped #CivilSociety organisations @hateaid and #CCDH who have been attacked by #Trump in exactly the same way but with zero government support.
