Palestinian legal advocacy group Al-Haq filed a criminal complaint in Switzerland against Israeli Economy Minister Nir Barkat while he was attending the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Al-Haq reported that Barkat is responsible for Israeli settlement policies, apartheid-related crimes in occupied Jerusalem during his time as mayor, and involvement in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Al-Haq says Swiss law allows prosecution of international crimes when suspects are present in the country and insists Davos should not offer impunity.
