Marisa Kabas also offers from-the-spot testimony from Minnesota. Her piece features Alice Valentine, who was apprehended along with her girlfriend as they tried to monitor ICE brutality towards immigrants in St. Cloud. Valentine speaks of the racism combined with misogyny and homophobia she witnessed.
