Dear FOSDEM goer. You can fund an air quality monitor (CO2 etc) for the event and take it home. The production & shipping costs are running up to 50 EUR. Now is the time to let me know you want it: no takers - no manufacturing. At the end of the event the devices and money will change hands. Contact details are in the article linked:
By now 25 CO2 monitor devices are booked to go home with various people after FOSDEM.
At least 15 more takers and it'll be total of 40, enough to cover all devrooms, other track rooms and stand spaces.
Any visitor can join to this initiative. Express your interest now, meet me at the end and get your device in exchange for 50 euro (which is roughly just manufacturing & shipping costs per unit).

@autkin Do they have a way to get data out of them (USB, BT, etc)? If so, I might be interested.
Would it be quicker / less risky to buy a job-lot on eBay?
