There's some talk of OFCOM banning X in the UK.
I doubt it will happen, but lets all be welcoming to people who do decide now is the time to try out Social Web alternatives.

i'm going to patiently explain the culture of this platform to new users but you're dreaming if you think i'm going to tolerate twitter's culture on here.
The issue with the culture here is that people are not welcoming.
No, we don't want this to turn into X and it won't. We've built protections, we don't have hate fuelled algorithms.
We just need people to be respectful, on both sides!
