Does anyone else feel *really* uneasy about what is happening (on principle, such as for the reasons I've mentioned), regardless of your feelings about Maduro?

What's he gonna do— *force* U.S. companies to invest in Venezuelan oil infrastructure?
Also, has he heard of supply and demand?
Furthermore, the article mentions that trump said "the U.S. would keep some of the proceeds (the US oil companies make) 'in the form of reimbursement for the damages caused us by that country.'"

"At least 40 people, including civilians and soldiers, were killed in the attack..."
I wonder what the final number killed will be, and how many Venezuelans were injured? 🤔

Also:
"One thing Mr. Trump made clear was his desire to open up Venezuela's vast state-controlled oil reserves to American oil companies...
"'We are going to run the country right,' Mr. Trump said. 'It's going to make a lot of money.'"

Trump said that past Venezuelan governments "stole our oil" (presumably Venezuela's nationalizing of its oil industry, making US companies less privy to it).
So he feels the oil belongs to the US, I guess— US oil companies & the US government who has the power to take it.
This is NOT about narco-terrorism. Let's remember that #trump recently pardoned the former leader of Honduras who was convicted by a jury after a three-week trial.
