One remains in power, the other steals resources and gains one geopolitical vantage point through control of Argentina's territory.

The annexation of Argentina is contingent on Milei's political success, something which was extremely unlikely to happen before the US intervention. With the US making offers they can't refuse to every argie representative and governor, it's going to be an interesting time to see how instead of Greenland or Canada, Trump ends up seizing a different country on the cheap.
