The US invasion of Venezuela is a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter. Celebrating the capture of Maduro, Donald Trump went further, calling it an “attack on sovereignty” itself.
Countries the world over must work together to rein in the United States before it’s too late.
@parismarx UN security council might have chances of reforming beyond amending its charter, which could mean that there is a way to take veto powers from those members that violate the charter.
Otherwise, the UN security council remains an ornamental diplomatic body without capacity to enforce sanctions on abuses
