@evan To play devil's advocate here, Maduro doesn't have a central bank run by the Rothschild family. That's why the Vatican called for it, as they're above the UN, so they think.
They aren't above common law, though....
@evan it's the inevitable breakdown and failure of the UN to accomplish any of its stated purposes. an organisation of powerful people created to solve the problems their power causes can only stall, rather than prevent, the kind of actions that made it necessary, or consume itself.
as for "norms", this has been the norm since 1492.

@evan this tracks with how the US has done things for a very long time, especially in the western hemisphere. Things like international law are cosplay. This is just regime change for oil, colonialism and plunder

The US used invaded and occupied Latin American countries in the first half of the 1900s, but after the formation of the United Nations it was more involved in funding and supporting civil wars. Exceptions like the invasion of Panama have been criticized in the world community, and the mining of Nicaragua's harbours was a crime per the International Court of Justice. That kind of normalization is extremely dangerous.
